Ngā Iwi I te Rohe o Te Waiariki, in partnership with its world-class science technology consortium, is holding an in-person hui to discuss finalising our Science, Research and Technology road map.
This road map will help prioritise the long, medium and short-term projects we, as iwi, believe align with our values, vision and goals.
The hui is being hosted at Scion Te Papa Tipu Innovation Park on Tuesday 7 June.
Among the attendees will be our partners Cawthron, Plant and Food, NIWA, University of Otago and University of Waikato, as well as MPI, Te Ohu Kaimoana, Cetogenix and Te Arawa Lakes Trust.
The hui will involve workshops and brainstorming sessions with these experts while embedding mātauranga Māori into every project we finalise.
Once the road map is finalised, we will publish and distribute publicly, and among government ministers.
If you are interested in attending as a representative of your iwi please contact Nicole email@example.com no later than 3pm, Wednesday 1 June.
